Israel has it out With IAEA
Posted by samkatz on June 18, 2009

In September 2006, Israel bombed a secret Syrian nuclear reactor. There has been an IAEA investigation into Syria’s nuclear program ever since, which found traces of uranium. Syria claims the uranium is from ‘depleted uranium’ bombs that Israel dropped.
Now, El Baradei, the chief of the IAEA, launched into a tyrade against Israel about how the strike on the nuclear reactor was in violation of international law.
Last time I checked Mr. El Baradei, it’s not in your mandate to deal with a nations soveriegnty. Maybe if you would have done your job and found Syria’s nuclear weapons program earlier, we wouldn’t have had to clean up the mess for the world.
